The show is getting it’s “festival legs” in the Adelaide Fringe which promisses good things for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival run March 28 to April 6.

In Adelaide we’ll be at the Stag Hotel 299 Rundel Street (across the road from Garden of Unearthly Delights). Show starts at 7pm and afterwards you can show your ticket to get $5 off your steak and a $5 bottle of wine at the Stag’s famous restaurant! In Adelaide we only have 6 shows, so make sure you book for a show March 8-10 & 15-17.

At the Melbourne Comedy festival you can catch Sidekicks at the Trades Hall Bookshop at the romantic time of 10pm! Only 9 shows possible from the 28th March to the 6th of April

Veronica Milsom, Louise Alston, Tom Stokes on the Photocopier set.

Edit on short film Photocopier is about to start after a successful two day shoot on the 1st and 2nd of December. Locations included a scrap yard in Hornsby, a photocopier shop in Wetherill Park and a law firm in the CBD of Sydney.

Actors Tom Stokes, Emily Rose Brennan, Drayton Morley, Veronica Milsom and John Shrimpton did amazing work and the spectacular crew did likewise!

Delivery date is scheduled for Dec 21.

Special congratulations to super-producer Eva di Blasio who has been named as the recipient of the AFTRS Los Angeles internship… she prepared her application while she was producing Photocopier!

Producer Eva di Blasio and director Louise Alston are in pre production for a short film called Photocopier. Written by Stephen Vagg, the comedy stars Tom Stokes (from Railway Man with Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth) and Emily Rose Brennan (Underbelly). Shooting will be on the 1st/ 2nd of Dec with a fantastic crew including DOP Nicola Daley.  Post production crew is made up of Louise’s long time collaborators Andrew Soo (editor) Caitlin Yeo (composer) and Adrian Bilinski (sound design). Locations include a top law firm with views of the harbour bridge!
